I agree. The Hellcat with the auto will destroy pretty much anything in a straight line. I actually think the Hellcat with the manual will be a drivers race with the gt500 as it's got lower rear end gears (3.70) vs the gt500 (3.31) so there will be more torque multiplication to offset the weight. Plus the Hellcat should be able to hook better than the GT500.

Everything you listed has been done by the outgoing GT500. Like is said, under equal conditions such as weather and driver skill, they will be a drivers race. Don't get me wrong its great that Dodge is jumping into the fray, but it might be too little to late.

There probably is some upgrade tire package when it comes available for sale. If not, my first investment would be some new WIDE tires for the back of that car.

GM is at the bottom of the food chain with the ZL1. Better step their game up lol. I think with the 8spd auto its gonna shock alot of people. Should make for a good run against the GT500

Very impressive. I love muscle cars. Shelby, ZL1, Hellcat. Now they need to make the Chevelle, Barracuda and Fairlane.

This thing is going to rule the street, would love to own one. I doubt Chevy will make a Camaro with that much horsepower, being that they are building more overall performance cars, but it will be interesting to see what they do with the ZR1.
