Question Who has received delivery of a 1LT/2LT V6 in 2023? When did you submit your order?

Thread title pretty much says it all. If you've received delivery of a new 2023 1LT/2LT V6 this calendar year, when did you order it, and when did it arrive?

Thanks,

2023 Black 1LT
Order Placed (1100): July 16, 2022
GM accepted (3000): September 13, 2022
Delivery to Dealership (5000): October 27, 2022
--3.5 months from order to delivery--
Dealership: Sir Walter in Raleigh, NC

2023 Sharkskin Metallic 2LT
Order Placed (1100): February 20, 2023
GM accepted (3000): April 11, 2023 (TODAY)
Dealership: Sir Walter in Raleigh, NC

I HIGHLY recommend Sir Walter Chevrolet...great to work with and have proven to get allocations for Camaros and C8s during these crazy times. Sidenote: I ordered/purchased a '22 C8 from Hendrick Chevrolet in Cary, NC in April 2022 and they were great to work with too. Again, I can only speak to my experiences. Oh, and both dealerships honored MSRP.

I ordered mine beginning of May 22, it got accepted late June It had a July 25th build week originally. I’m not sure how long it took it to go through the build, or if it happened to get pushed back any. I took delivery on September 28th. It sat in the plant parking lot for a while. It seems like mileage may vary when it comes to orders.

Thanks... Btw, how are you liking those Recaro seats? I have them on my build although I've never sat in them. I'm a slender guy so figured they would be good for me.

The Recaros are awesome. I had the chance to set in a couple over the years and they were a no compromise option. They really give the car a premium feel. I’m 6’3” and 160ish pounds, they keep me in the seat without being too tight and uncomfortable. The bolstering seems about right for me. Other people that have ridden with me have commented on how nice they are. I don’t think you will be disappointed with them.

4/17 TPW

... and hoping to take delivery by May 31st!

Well this is depressing.

I ordered my 1LT V6 in Sharkskin back in September of 2022 and still nothing. I checked the status on the Chevrolet site today and it's still saying my order was placed, but not accepted by GM yet.

The dealership near me where I placed the order apparently only has an allotment of two Camaros and they have a 2022 3LT 4cyl they have been unable to sell and recently sold a ZL1 a couple of weeks ago. So it's basically one at a time for them.

I'm starting to wonder if I should place an order at another dealership for the same car that might have a higher allotment and then hope that one gets built faster.

I would definitely start working with other dealerships if I were in your position. Ask about available allotments prior to placing a new order.

Thanks for the info. I'll definitely consider another dealership in the area too.

Sadly, both Becky and her husband Joe passed away in recent years and their user account has been defunct since May of last year.

My salesperson called today...

5/3 expected delivery to dealer
5/5 scheduled customer pickup

So, my complete buying process will have taken exactly 7 weeks from start to end.
