Arrow Looking for a Spec/Dimensions Sheet...

Hello Everyone:

I am looking for a dimensions sheet, one where they will tell you things like:

  1. Length
  2. Width
  3. Height
  4. Wheelbase
  5. Front & Rear Head Room
  6. Front & Rear Leg Room
  7. Front & Rear Shoulder Room
  8. Front & Rear Tread Width
  9. Fuel Tank Capacity
Etc...

I have found some of the specs for the exterior dimensions, but nothing about the interior yet. I want to do a side by side comparison with my 2011 1LT.

Thank you to anyone who can find this list for the 6th Gen.

I read somewhere that the front is about the same except you can put the seats a lot lower so taller people will fit better and that the back seats are a lot less room than the current car.

I am going to take a guess that their numbers on length and wheelbase may not be accurate.

Thank you to anyone who can find this list for the 6th Gen.
Back seat room is supposed to be a bit tighter than in the current car, due to the smaller overall size. I haven't heard anything on fuel tank size, I would expect it to be about the same as in the ATS family. Could also be a touch smaller than in the 5th gen (keeping range about the same). Those two guidelines probably aren't mutually exclusive. Most specs haven't been announced yet and will probably trickle in over the next few months.

I don't know... something about the back seat room is 'supposed to be a bit tighter' just made me laugh! So the rear 'seats' we have now are just going to be a shelf?

And I really don't understand why GM won't release all the specs at one time? What's to 'hide'?

There's not much to hide, but for some reason or another they seem to think that trickling information out over the span of months is the best way to build interest.

Having said that, the link above said that these are Preliminary Specifications, and another person on this forum stated something about the front seats dropping even lower than the 5th Gen seats for greater headroom. So I feel pretty good that it shouldn't be a deal breaker.

Once again thanks for all the info, and all of you are right...who cares about back seat room...that's storage to me, and NOT why you buy a car like this.

In one of the auto mag sites, the writer stated the seat dropped considerably low, and that he is 6'5 and had no trouble fitting.
