This is an interesting and great looking install. If it were a non rs housing, it would have the chrome backplate so perhaps a retrofitted one like you mentioned but painted flat black?

Looks killer in that color too!!

Yo AAC, can I send you my headlights, do you offer this service? Or you think I'll be OK warming these suckers up and taking them apart?

Sure it looks easy in the youtube vid, but on a scale of 1-5, with 1 being easy and 5 super hard, what would you rate this as a DIY?
I'm only worried about taking the lenses apart, not worried about anything else.

I've added halos to my 4th gen and it wasn't such a big deal. However not interested in doing that again. I will find a local spot who can do then order.
