Aerodynamics without stock style muffler
Anyone else concerned that removing the stock style muffler module and replacing with small mufflers on each side (ie. similar to GMPP's Borla setup and all other aftermarket setups), could result in less favorable aerodynamic properties? At the factory fest, they had a camaro displayed on it's side with the GMPP exhaust and you can see this huge empty space where the stock muffler was and the rear bumper comes down fairly low. I'm a little concerned that would disrupt air flow at higher speeds. The stock muffler at least appears that it would smoothen air flow in that region.

I would worry about the rear diffuser if a person swaps exhaust to something that doesn't fill the void in similar fashion.

Not to worried about it, I have not been to the track yet and not even sure if I will get on the track to worry about high speed air flow. On the plus side, the stock exhaust weighs a ton, better gas economy when you get that weight off and maybe a sound you really like. Not that the Camaro stock sound is bad, it's great.
