The SS has no room under the hood for any supercharger on the market now. That means the after market companies will have to design a new one which is never cheap. I guess you can fit some small turbo's in there somewhere but I doubt it. |

Hyper blue is the only color I really enjoy that or white. I like the look of them. Might be much smaller, but it's performance and yea today $50k for 2SS, tomorrow $60k. Lol 5 yrs, $100k! You gotta pay to play!
I'm happy with mine though. No point in updating it to a new one for more money on a toy. I have better things to spend my money on. Like family.

Drove new 2016 and bought a Gen 5
I wanted to like the new Gen 6 and drove one. Did not like interior driver space and ZERO back seat as well as front lights and Grill. Nor tailights!
Bought a used 2SS with 20,000 miles and love that look. Sorry Chevy designers... |

I like both the 5 gen and 6 gen but the few things I don't like the most about is the bump in price over the generation between a 2lt 5 gen and 6 gen 2lt with the V6 you're looking at around 3 to 10k difference in price not including if you went with a SS trim yes there are more option and technology in it but the problem with the 6 gen are in the choices in option are lump together some you really can do without but the ones most would enjoy hud with the lighting package which adds around 3k that was standard on the 5 gen along with the heated mirrors and such. Allow it to be cheaper but give the choices of option instead of lumping them together would help I believe. Options I would love to see would be more color options a option for a LSD for the auto 4cyl and v6. Make it more the buyer choice. yes it could open up the argument of resale value and buyer remorse but that another argument.

The SS they had was all dirty and sitting in the back lot. And I wouldn't be too aggressive with a virgin car. Hell when the salesman took me for a ride in a 2010 demo camaro he romped on the thing and told me to do the same. Mind you I didn't buy that camaro lol.

Ford did the same with the 2013-14 Mustang. Of course, not everyone is going to be satisfied.

imagine if they'd had the internet in 1970 or the fall of 1981 or 1993.

I myself like the 10-15. I am not pleased at all with the new gen of Camaro and if I get a newer one I will stop at the 14. I'm new here. I just have a 10. I love the thing to pieces.

I would also like to say that all day long I make some of the parts you see on the outside of the Camaro and I wasn't happy with the design when they first came to the shop floor.
