Suede interior

Hey guys, thinking of adding some suede to my interior but not sure where to get it!? Anyone know of premium quality and perhaps even the man made suede or whatever that's used in the ZL1 that's supposed to be durable so it doesn't wear out so fast. thanks!

What pieces do you want to add? The ZL1 style suede steering wheel and shifter are available through gmpartshouse pretty cheap. Seats might run you a little more, but I have seen them out of wrecked ZL1's for around $1000.

Hope this helps.

Hey thanks Deke that does help. Gonna start with door panels and dash strip in suede, next pieces will be seats and have been toying with idea of getting zl1 seats or covers if avail. for panels since i need raw material i'm just not sure as to which is the most durable/quality material and where to buy it.

Don't know saw a pic of a suede manual shift knob from a ZL1 and the thing had some fast wear on it. Hope that was a fluke and not really how that stuff wears out.

I've been looking into this too, I've been searching for places to get Alcantara, but it seems like everywhere I went all their black fabrics were sold out! Any ways, sorry can't be of any help, but watching this thread for sure.

Try contacting gulf fabrics or Jpm coach works. I'm in the process of wrapping my dash panels in black alcantara and then going to do the door inserts

Awesome freefallin2005, that's good to know incase i run across a deal on those! Otherwise for the seats I'm gonna have to find a really good interior guy to do them because if they don't look factory i won't be happy
