Best to my knowledge it is absolutely impossible without buying an actual ZL edition package, and even then it's a $1000 upgrade.

Thanks Bro, sorry for the large print. Anne always took care of me, I can't see you having problems with them. Let me know if you do. |

I didn't realize she would sell that. I as well thought between the diffuser and Hood, it would be kept to ZL owners only. Keep us posted CamaroI.

That's what my belief has been based off of my conversations with people @ SLP. I will be calling her to see if they do sell the diffuser to the public non-ZL owners. I'd wonder mainly about the price difference, because it seems like all options on the ZL editions have a "Labor/install" up-charge on them. Compared to what they sell for in aftermarket form on their website which is why I really want to get all the optional parts of the ZL edition on my own instead of ordering as an option with the conversion package, if the price difference really does hold true like I have the feeling it does.

Good luck!!! I have the ZL 427 package and I have added a ton of shit to my Camaro. I was told they wouldn't sell certain parts unless you have a ZL car.. Give it a shot though..

I plan on having a zl package placed but not sure will be SLP package. Even if SLP sold the diffuser I doubt hundreds of thousands going to buy. I have stuff on my car and attend tons of shows. Rarely do I see people with even different color halos or other mods. Don't get me wrong people have mods but not tons and tons. So even if several people in my area had diffuser would not be saturated enough to say not a rarity. In fact if diffuser on my car I bet only 1-2 percent would say OMG it's an SLP conversion that's why he has a SLP diffuser. I think more people would say wow that's a great looking diffuser.

Good argument, but they aren't going to sell you one. I just tried to buy a ZL hood 2 weeks ago and was told no. I do believe they'll eventually sell all the ZL specific parts individually when they are no longer selling "new" ZL's... But til then you're SOL.
... Now if one of these ZL owners in here called to order "replacement" parts, they might be more willing to sell. Any of you guys wanna try to order me a hood? |

SLP has broken the barrier on ZL parts down to the point that the only things not available to the public is the diffuser, and the ZL hood. They have the blem spoilers, and then wheels, splitters, SS emblems and mailslot filler piece. Technically you could build your own ZL edition as some ZL's don't even have the Ram air hood & rear diffuser. Heck a local dealer has a new CRT ZL600 that has the regular Camaro hood, standard SS diffuser, and standard 20" rims. http://www.lenstolerchevy.com/Vehicl...-MD/1830241263 |
