People without Garages, how much would you pay to store your car?

I was just checking on prices to store my car for the winter since I do not have a garage. I was shocked at the prices. The place I stored my 66 Corvair back in 2003 went from $60 a month then to $160 a month now. The place isn't even Climate controlled.
How much would or do you pay a month for storage if you do not have your own Garage?

Zero. But then again I'm one of the few people here that drive my car, enjoy it, and don't suffer a stroke if it gets dirty. Also the fact that it's been hit four times since it was new detracts from my concern as well. I have a two car that isn't used for anything but lawn equipment. I'll rent you one half for 60 bucks. The only catch is you have to drive to Florida!!!

Comparing real estate values in the five boroughs with property in Tennessee is tantamount to comparing the space shuttle to a piper cub.

Perhaps you need to look up the definition of comparison. And while you are at it lighten up.

I just use a $150 car cover and call it good, my garage is always full with some kind of other project.

Ok I don't want to start an argument, I know that prices for any kind if storage in Manhattan are going to be out of sight. I just want some comparative figures of what other people are or would be willing to pay.
If you have other arrangements to store your car or have no need to store it then you need not answer.
Thank you.

It depends on location, access, climate controlled.... here in NJ parking can range from $75 per month to over $200

These are very common in the NY/NJ area

long term storage can have penalties for removing early

Angrybird, you might try posting this thread in the southeast regional forum. That way you can get an idea of prices in your area and there's less of a chance of firing up the Civil War again, lol.

I pay $160 to store my vintage 'vette on the floor of a heated parking garage that is dedicated to vintage cars. Last year I paid $185 for a locked compartment with electricity at the same facility. This year, I just took the battery home and hooked it up to a battery tender. Mini storage is obviously not the the cheapest choice, and usually is not climate controlled.

The Camaro is at home in my own garage. No way would I leave it outside in Winter.

Me and 3 friends split a shop, we pay $100 each a month and have our own key and access to the shop 24/7. Size is around 30x60 and we have enough room for 6 cars + 1 to work on and all our tools/parts.

I pay $150/month for a 2 car garage, no heat, but has garage door openers. It's also 50 yards from my house.
