Who has had their ZL1 tinted?
Being in Florida I wanted something dark and good heat reflection. Had a hard time deciding between 18% & 25%. Finally opted for the 18% Suntek CXP. I will post some pics when they finish. Just hope it isn't too dark.
What did you go with and post pics if you have them.

I'm getting the darkest legal which is 25% in Texas. To keep the most heat out, I plan to use ceramic film, which adds about $100 bucks to the overall tinting cost.

I used 3M Crystalline and I'm a little disappointed. Here is why: the back window glares like crazy at night from the headlights of traffic behind me. I have tried to figure out if this is "normal" or due to a poor installation. The shop that installed it is reputable and they told me that because the ZL1 has thick rear defrost lines, the tint doesn't adhere as well and causes the light to refract and glare. I have asked around and other Camaro owners have not encountered this issue with their tint. After exhaustively searching online it seems other owners have experienced this with 3M Crystalline on other vehicles.
At this point, I'm still debating on what to do. I don't want to just "live" with it, especially since it's distracting at night. I don't know what percentage it is, but it's the lightest shade, the one right below the legal tint.

That's why I chose not to go the ceramic route, plus I prefer a more black look. The ceramics I have had give either a mirrored look or a little purplish

In the North and plan to take the car to the track so I did Suntek 45%. If I go too dark, some tracks might not let me run.

Literally just dropped off my car for tint. Drove straight from dealer there. Some hooper something german ceramic film on all sides and 90% uv on the windsheild.
