That is terrible. Sorry buddy. Are you sure that it did not blow away? I have seen that happen.

I completely missed the word "cover" which made your comment hilarious. I was like WTF kind of wind do you get to blow a 3800lb car.

That blows! I use an extra long braided metal cable "bicycle lock chain" kind of cable and a burly lock on mine. I live in Tacoma WA (car theft capital of the US) and havent had an issue yet, tho someone stole our lawn mower out of our back yard mid mow.. ( I went inside for a few minutes to pee and get a drink. Came out.. gone!)

That sux, unfortunately even if you had a lock they would take it if they wanted it.
How about leaving your windows down with a pitbull on the front seat. They take the cover off and Rex takes their throats out.

Sorry to hear this. I would be mad. I'm not making an excuse for the thieves (they are still scum) but this is what happens when you don't lock the cover. Quality outdoor covers have loops on the bottom to allow you to use a locking system.

Man, that sucks. I have a cover for my car, and unitl now, it had not occurred to me that someone might actually steal it.
