Half baked appearance packages is what’s sad. Pretty much as sad as when Chevy was slapping SS on everything in the mid 2000’s. What cars sell for makes no difference to me as it’s not affecting me in any way financially.

Rick Hendrick picked up a phone to GM and asked for 40 2024 Radiant Red 2SS1E's for his 40th LE cars and got all those allocations, screwing average Joe's that had orders in for many months hoping for their one dream car. Don't think it was any different with the 56 cars.Connections are everything,this guy is the Elon of Motorsports, truly King Midas. To his credit these garage cars went parabolic,and his cars finished 1-2 in the Daytona 500 last weekend on his 40th anniversary of his racing team. You can't script this stuff folks! I'm sure his 40th cars won't pull valuations like the garage 56 cars, but they will get big money..America!

Yeah $200k is still smoking hot and in my mind actually proves the cars really are on fire. If the second one sold for 100k I would say it was a one auction wonder. Just the opposite here. Collectors are obviously noting these cars are very rare compared to Mustangs, Challengers and Chargers.
I love it, hope the prices keep flying high.
