Here she is beside the Camaro. The infotainment/nav system is spectacular! Voice recognition is flawless. Plugged a usb stick into the console and it sorted the 17,000 songs I have on it by album/artist/genre. Show the album art on the screen. I can say "play Led Zeppelin" or play "Brown sugar" and it plays the song or all songs by the group. Paired my phone and it uploaded all my contacts and texts. It will read your texts to you and you can reply. Or say "Call Dave at work" and it will ring up the work number stored. Nav is super easy again, say "directions to nearest gas station" or say an address and boom, done. Has not yet once got any of my voice commands wrong. Very impressed.

Love that color... same as the one I saw at the auto show here and is top of my list along with black.

That infotainment Ctr is one thing I'm really after. As my daily driver I'll spend more time in this vehicle that any other. My current Colorado is bare bones and doesn't even have power windows and door locks. I'll never do that again.

...and look how nicely it fits in your garage..

Congrats Wilhe.
Nice color, pairs well with the Camaro. I traded a 12 Silverado 4X4 reg. cab LS, manual everything. I missed all the power & tech gadgetry my 1LT had, and having to actually use a key to unlock the doors got old fast.

It's all the cargo features that make the gear on special. Me like.
Mike, those tubular step bars are awful. One of the Trucks I looked at had them, they look like someone home built them out of muffler pipe. Dunno what GM was thinking.

LOL... we both have opposite opinions on those bars. I checked them out 1st hand on this truck and this was a huge plus for me on this truck along with the painted front grill, black bowties and wheels.

That's hilarious. I'm in the exact same situation. Thinking of ripping out the stock radio and going double din aftermarket. Colorado 2wd, 5 speed, 3.5L I5.

Manual locks, windows. Regular cab. Never again. Stupid xTreme package clouded my judgement. ZQ8 rides like i'm sitting on the ground.

I never planned on keeping it this long. Just really liked this truck. Heck I'm turning 70 and the tires are still good on it. No issues what so ever for 3 years and because I wasn't ever planning to keep it I drive the piss out if it too.

This was posted over on Colorado Fans. Apparently it was with the GearOn Truck at Chicago. 369 lb-ft at 2000 rpm.

I like the sound of that. The more I look at these, the more I want one as a parts/future kid hauler that I can drive anywhere, particularly in the snow.

I'm confused... what was the GearOn truck? Not a diesel..
