Ok when saying the alphabet it's zeeee. And it's a 350zeeee and zeeeebra but, BUT when it comes to a Z28 or Z71 or LTZ it's most definately ZEDtwennyeight or
ZEDsevenny0ne or
el-tee-zed.

But if you were in Quebec it would be??? Help me out here Quebecers.

I grew up saying Zed-28, but then I heard some Americans say Zee-28 and I thought it sounded odd. I prefer Zed-28, though.

How about Z06? Do you say Zed-Oh-Six, Zee-Oh-Six, or Zed/Zee-Zero-Six?

Canadian for 50 years...ZED 28.

Quick funny one...I worked in Pennsylvania for a couple of years and I called up the Parts Dept. we used. I rattled off a Ford part number to him and when I said "zed" there was silence on the other end of the phone. The young fellow finally asked me "what number is zed?"

I just about landed on the ground. We all learned a lot about the north and south when I worked there. LOL
