5th bow issue for the third time!!

Wow! I just got my car back on Tuesday, from getting the 5th bow replaced for the second time. had it in my heated garage and was cleaning it cause of the mess the dealer left it in. Not to mention he didn't replace my seatbelts either so I had to re-bolt those in my self. Thought lets see how nice my roof works............ not it would not go down all the way and then when I put it back up the 5th bow is bent again and now I have a gap big enough to put my fingers into. This is really starting to pi$$ me off already. why can't Chevy come up with a proper fix!!!!!!!! not to mention I have top wait 10 frikken days for the bow to show up on top of this!!!!!

Need to have them replace the total top frame. You need to talk to a regional rep otherwise this will keep happening. This is the only real fix for the 2011s. Been there, done that.

thanks William. There are two Chevrolet dealers here and the first one whom shall not be named, was the most arrogant service dept. I have seen. They had absolutely no intension of working on my car. So needless to say I would not and will not refer them to anyone. The other Dealer was the most accommodating service dept. I have seen, talk about to polar opposites. they were ready and willing to solve my problem. kudos to them! will keep you update as I progress with this repair.

Thanks!

I do regret to read about your negative dealership experience, and would be happy to formally document any complaints on your behalf if you'd like. If not, I will certainly look forward to further updates from you .

GMPP covers everything except the cloth top. It covers the frame, bolts, straps, everything.

I was just on the phone with them on Monday, inquiring very specifically regarding the coverage for our convertible tops. The rep. called me back Tuesday and confirmed everything is covered except the canvas top. The only thing in printed format is available from the gmppdirect.com site.

GMPP

I HAVE SEEN AND HEARD ALOT ABOUT WHAT IS COVERED WITH THE CONVERIBLE TOP MECHANICAL ASSY ETC. ON THE EXTENDED WARRANTY.

IT WOULD BE NICE TO HEAR FROM A GM CUSTOMER SERVICE REP TO ANSWER THIS QUESTION AND PUT IT TO REST.

ARE THE TOP MECHANICAL PARTS COVERED OR NOT ?

THANKS, ROGER.
