I searched and did not see this question asked yet. What did you drive before your 1LE. I ask the 1LE owners because I would not have purchased a Camaro do to the fact that is wasn't the best handling car until the 1LE came out. I'm sure the SS with upgraded suspension does handles just as good as a 1LE, but now with 2 kids under the age of 2 and no time to turn wrenches I wanted my next car to be quick and handle well out of the box. When I bought my 2004 Subaru WRX it was my daily driver/weekend warrior so I needed a car that went well in the snow. After 5 years of daily driving, and a number of suspension upgrades I was able to buy a truck for my daily driver/tow vehicle for the WRX. I autocrossed the WRX for a number of years in the SCCA STX class. I won a number of regional championships, and even had time before the kids came to win the Great Lake Division Championship. I new the car (and myself) would never do well at a national race, so I never even tried (now that's it gone I wish I would have). It was time for something new, and that's when I came across the 1LE. I'll let you know what I think about the car when I get to drive it as it will not be built until the first week of December. Let me know what you had before your 1LE, and post a picture if you have one.

2013 Scion FRS. This photo was taken at Grattan Raceway on Labor Day. Got my butt kicked, so I bought a 1LE. Won't happen again. The butt kicking that is.

An 02 z28, a4 2.73 car, t56 swap with Firehawk 3.42 and auborn. Full exhaust and tasteful bolt ones, 342rwhp pre dyno tune, 359 post. That car was a factory ls6 block car and it was a freak of ls1 nature. Car just flat out screamed. More of a straight line highway car, then I figured out that the road turns left and right...

I drove a BRZ and loved it except for the lack of power. I waited to see if a BRZ STI was going to come out, but no luck. I think I picked the better car. Thanks for sharing!

It was a great car! But no comparison to the 1le. I don't miss it a bit. Lol.

The 1LE is my first sports car. I'm really not coming from anything because it didn't replace anything. Just a weekend toy. My daily driver is an 07 silverado so there's nothing but chevy love at my house
