A pro manual story ripped from the headlines
A man trying to steal a truck in Colorado Springs Wednesday night gave up and ran away after realizing the vehicle had a manual transmission, according to police.
It happened around 7 p.m. Wednesday. Police said a man carrying a handgun approached the victim and tried to steal his truck. When the man tried to start the truck, he couldn’t, because he didn’t know how to drive a manual transmission. When he realized this, he ran away. Police found the suspect, 35-year-old Andrew Lazcano, in a King Soopers shopping center. He was arrested on robbery charges.
