That's impressive on the stock cam and low side fuel pump. Are you running a low side fuel pump voltage booster?

-ARH 2" ceramic coated headers w/3" exhaust, no cats back to factory mufflers retaining NPP
- Katech 103 mm TB
- Rotofab big gulp
- Kong ported stock SC
- 9.55 pulley
- upgraded wires w/heat shield and new plugs
- 91 octane by choice.
- full race fuel tune for drag racing

Custom tuning

Guesses on rwhp and tq?

Your biggest issue will be low octane fuel on much higher boost.

These engines are Octane hungry on stock boost.

The higher the boost the higher the octane required.

The 91 octane fuel will cause such a low timing number that the engine will be very inefficient and will be very inconsistent due to knock retard.

On the other hand the race fuel along with your mods can make some serious power, now you have a good recipe.

Seems everyone is quick to cram boost in an engine but do not increase octane to go along with it, certainly an oxymoron IMO.

My ZLE makes 670 RWHP on Stock boost levels (pulleys blower etc) Power Through Efficiency.

The biggest difference between our mods is Horsepower on Dyno VS out on the Track Mine will make the same power lap after lap with no degradation.

Give the engine what it needs.

Ted.

Already seeing this on the track. Have tweaked the tune to try next races.

Personal best on race fuel. Several runs tonight but can’t below 1.7 60ft. Car runs well. Shifts hard. Feels like it could transfer power faster off the line. Tried diff PTM modes and TC options. Dont seem to make much difference. More practice but very happy with build.

So I’m curious if I need or should install a catch can? I can smell oil burning once in awhile when I’m on the street. Always when I’m slowing down to a stop. Any ideas?

I don't think that has anything to do with not having a catch can. I know one thing that was a major PITA was getting that dipstick tube back in after the headers were installed! It presses in with a couple of O rings.. could be that. Any sign of oil under the car?

IMO best mode to be in is just sport mode. My best 60ft so far is 1.408 on a 17” slick.. now I’m waiting for my 15” conversion kit to get here.
