I don't know about the "best of both worlds," but it does actually look kind of cool. Needs less chrome though, damn trucks and their chrome...... everywhere......

I would love it if GM brought the Holden UTE SS over here. The front is a Chevy SS, and the rear is a pickup truck. Trucks make up a major percentage of sales here in the USA, so why not bring over the UTE? I'm sure it would sell quite a bit. Come on Chevy/GM, make it happen!

I should have bought a ZL1

Again is a Holden Commodore Ute, which is a LWB version of Zeta chassis like the Caprice PPV (otherwise the truck bed would be useless). Here is the article from five years ago. http://www.caradvice.com.au/92019/ho...ss-camaro-ute/ The lightweight, long wheelbase (when race weighted) makes a decent track, drift and World Time Attack car, the former is a popular local race class we call Brutes, rhyming slang for V8 Utes. Is popular, more real than COTF over-regulated factory garbage hyped like V8 Supercar series. The race ute is pervasive here coz affordable and develops "tradies" trucks and outback "B&S" utes into multipurpose hyper sleds.
