I just logged into XM and mine is good for a year too. I bought my 2011 in October of 2011 and it's good until 2012.

Not only does Sirius/XM have the worst customer service departments ever, but have you read the TOS? If you don't call listener care w/in 3 business days of your trial period, they have the right to renew you to the same period after your free trial. They will bill you if no card is on file.

SiriusXM Satellite Radio service9 has been increased to 12 months on the 2LT and 2SS" The only problem I had with xm was they wouldn't stop calling me to renew after my initial 3 month trial period expired. I told them I am soon getting a 2012 with 1 year free and asked them to take me off their call list. Haven't heard a thing from then since. Now if my 2012 would get here.. sorry to hijack the thread. |

XM has one of the worst customer service centers ever. I don't use my car much and when I do I use my iPod screw the XM radio.

an easy way to get the dealer to respond to you and work with you is to show up in the showroom on a weekend afternoon and start polite, if they dont want to work with you or are trying to screw you over you can get louder until the other people in there that are about to sign deals take notice. I had to do this with a mazda dealer in Phoenix that tried to screw over my wife (sold her a car then days later told her that they couldnt do the deal she signed and they were raising the price and interest rate) After i went in and politely asked them to unwind the deal since they were not honoring the contract and they said no i got LOUD and said "NO, THIS IS BS, YOU ARE NOT GOING TO RAISE THE PRICE AFTER WE SIGNED THE CONTRACT" everyone in the showroom turned and looked... they suddenly were very accomidating and got me out of there quickly, lol

GM needs to take control of this. Letters and phone calls need to go out ASAP to inform all 2012 owners that there has been a mistake. They should obtain cost and retribution from XMSirius. If not, XMSirius better be informing all affected ASAP. The longer they wait, the more people, that are not needing to, will blindly give away their credit card info. This brings great smiles to those upstairs.

SiriusXM is separate. However, the dealer needs to, at least respond to their customer.
This why I bought myCamaro at another local dealer in an adjacent town to where I live. BJ was one I contacted about ordering initially. (Can you say "Dealer Markup!") Lost my business on the first phone call.
