You cannot. It's operated through the various computers in the car (ECM, etc). It's not as simple as unplugging a connector any more. In the old days you could unplug the pin switch on the door and call it a day. But since the pin switch now tells your computer if your door is open or not, it also tells your alarm system and remote locking system if the door is open or not. You unplug your door pin switch and your power doorlocks, alarm system, and various warning lights will malfunction and act as if the door is actually closed all the time. It will act as if your door is always closed and your car will not start and alarm will sound when you try to start the car. If you solder the connection together it will act as if your door is open all the time and again your locking system and alarm will malfunction.

The speaker for it is part of the circuit board of the instrument cluster, and you'd have to disassemble the whole instrument pannel and desolder it from the circuit board if you wanted to remove the speaker. But then you loose the reminder chimes for EVERYTHING.

Far more hassle and possible danger of damaging other sensitive electronics in your car than it's worth. Plus when you go to sell it and you have no reminder chimes, no one is going to want the car.

Juat like the seat belt alarm, you can have the dealer disable it in the computer. I told my dealer that I would refuse to buy one unless he disabled it for me, lol.

Didn't know this was possible. I'm definitely gonna call my dealer now. The door chime is terribly annoying!
