Most people even with a small interest in cars still spout the old regurgitated crap about american cars. It's pretty infuriating

  • I bet it will have a lot of recalls, smh fam tbh yolo. rice life.

There are more but it's nauseating. I don't even want to talk about this car with people who don't know the stats and specs behind it.

You get that here with other brands too, especially the Challenger.

It's just a negative aspect of car culture.

What makes the 6th Gen special is your experience driving it and enjoying it. It's the driving experience, the thrill and or comfort...can't put a number or bullet point on it since that is different from person to person.
Only partly true. This car is 70% Camaro exclusive parts, if my understanding is correct.

What I meant by that is the platform (Alpha), the engine and transmission (ATS-V and Corvette) and some of the other standout features (NPP, MRC, etc) all are featured on other GM vehicles..they're not exclusive to the Camaro or were designed first and foremost for it.

The GT350 had the 5.2 Voodoo created for it...the Hellcats had the 6.2 SC Hemi..etc etc..like that.

God this post made me laugh so hard. While I am not GM loyalist, I saw a clear winner in the 2016 Camaro. My last ride was a 350Z and I waited forever for them to make a new TT Z. If they had I would likely be driving that, and if they do soon I may still likely drive one. I wanted to own an actual American muscle car once in my life though so here I am. V8 life is growing on me nicely I must say

The "parts bin" comment got me thinking... You could could sum it up like:

A Cadillac ride with Corvette power for Camaro prices haha

I see what you mean. Sorry if I came across as argumentative as that was not my intent

I believe the Cadillac and Corvette hurts the Camaro if anything. I would rather it be built on its own platform and be allowed to have more HP then the corvette.

Pretty much!

Trickle down from such good brands isn't a bad thing.

Then you're paying Corvette prices (or more) for a Camaro...
