Question Part numbers for FE4 springs

Does anyone know the part numbers for the front and rear FE4 springs? The GM parts websites don't use the FE3/FE4 codes for springs like they do for the rest of the suspension components. Instead, they seem to use 4-digit codes that are spring-specific.

I'm going to answer my own question, as I think I've figured out the answer. Tables below have the spring codes for all MRC equipped cars. The PNs might be out of date, but the spring codes should remain the same (and searchable).

Code:
Front
PN Code Suspension RPO For Model
84186923 AAV7 FE3 1/2SS
84186927 AA3P FE3 1/2SS Convertible
84186932 ABTJ FE4 1SS, and 1LE kit
84186925 AAV9 FE4 1SS, ZL1
84186926 AA3N FE4 ZL1 Convertible

Rear
PN Code
23341851 AAZ4 FE3 1/2SS
84079567 AA3M FE4 1SS, ZL1

I've just been using gmpartsgiant.com and understanding of the RPO and model codes. 84186922 (AAV6) is hard for me to figure out though. They list "AG37(LGX,FE3), AH37(LGX,FE2,FE3)". AH37 is the 1LT coupe and AH37 is the 2LT. From that list, it makes it sound like those springs are good for any LT car (but intuitively that doesn't make sense, because you'd expect the LT FE3 springs to be different than the LT FE2 springs).

The rears you mentioned just confused the shit out of me. GM Parts Giant lists "AG,AH,AJ,AK37(8BB); AG,AH,AJ,AK37(9BB)", and other sites will say something like "Camaro. Without variable damping, code: aa1n." That should be all fine and good, and should indicate that these are springs for non-MRC 1/2LE and 1/2SS vehicles. However, those RPOs (8BB and 9BB) looked familiar to me. They are "COMPONENT RR LH COMPUTER SEL SUSP" and "COMPONENT RR RH COMPUTER SEL SUSP" - not very descriptive. The problem is that my 2016 2SS with Mag Ride (RPOs FE3 and F55) also has RPOs 8BB and 9BB. So your post made me go out and check my rear springs. Turns out they are the exact PN and spring code you asked about, 84010830 AA1N. I would have expected to find 23341851 AAZ4 on my car (fitment for AJ,AK37(F55,9AB), AJ,AK67(9AB); AJ,AK37(F55,8AB), AJ,AK67(8AB)). Now I'm just really confused about the difference between the AB and BB rear suspension RPOs, and what they mean.

Can you tell me what vehicle you found those rear springs on?

Appreciate the info. The vehicle they are from is a 1LE V6 i sourced the vin number from and purchased the rear springs so far.

So those are actually on your SS? Pretty cool to know they are in fact SS springs, since the fe3 parts on the 1LE v6s state, FE3 dampers, but dont mention springs in the chevy brochure.

As for the front springs they may use a LT rated spring, but the upgraded FE3 dampers. Would make sense due to lack of engine weight. May possibly just be a slight height difference

Thanks for posting that! I'm interested to understand how the springs in that kit compare to the SS 1LE springs.

Also interested in the cost of replacement shocks if I were to get that kit.

Interesting. So, I can find all the parts, but the rear shock/damper of 840096556. Looks like Tenneco makes these, by the way, looking at the supplier code.

Also, adding up the costs of the parts, you can find the lowering kit for around $1,100-$1,200 online. That is actually a very fair price considering the cost of the front spring and dampers.

How is it that not one of the 1LE guys not piped up with their spring part numbers as confirmation? Maybe next time I see a 1LE, I'll peak in the wheel well and note them.
