Torque Spec > suspension, brakes, driveline

I'm seeking to find a reference list of the torque spec for the common fasteners on my ZL1. In particular the suspension, brakes and driveline would be valuable to have.

If someone would kindly direct me to where they would be listed I would greatly appreciated it. Thanks.

The shop manual is the only place you will find all of the torque values.

Thanks, but it seems rather silly to go buy a shop manual just to obtain general torque specs. Maybe I'm the only guy you wants to ensure his control arms don't move around on the racetrack ..

Maybe try https://www.repairprocedures.com/

It's legit. I've used it several times. Get a one day subscription for $10 and find and save everything you need.

Outside of the shop manual as was already mentioned, another source you might be able to find some things... depending on what you're looking....for is aftermarket companies that sell replacement or upgrade parts to certain suspension areas. like suspension arms, differential bushings, etc.(BMR) You'll have to probably download there install manual.

Or even a source like GM parts performance upgrades. The brake calipers... you can download those manuals too and see what the torque specs are. It'll take a little bit of compiling but most of them you can generally find.

Also I've seen in a couple post on the forms people have posted specs but you might have to use the search function for those. Just throw in somethibg like "Torque Specs" in the forum you are trying to find specs for.

I have some information saved, but not everything. They aren't going to have a a single page with all the torque specs or anything. For example, if you want the specs for the front stabilizer bar end links, you'll go to the section on replacing those end links. In that section you'll find those specs (lower 89 ft/lbs, upper 74 ft/lbs).

$10/Day is minimal for the few times a year I need the information so I don't bother trying to hoard everything. I'd rather pay the fee and have the peace of mind knowing the that information is current.

Hey Travis, thanks for sending along the specs that you have. As I get information I'll compile it and that post it all.

Wait how is a bolt that is Torque + Turn not a replaceable TTY bolt? Doing the front alignment now and am a little worried about reusing these bolts (Front Suspension Strut Nut At Steering Knuckle).

It's called TTA and can be reused. Google TTY vs TTA bolt
