I see the car making around 900 RWHP on blower, give or take a hundred.

With an F1A-94? That would seem very high. I've seen RPM and Vengeance build lots of these Procharged cars and usually a Cammed LT4 + F1A-94 is around 800 and it takes a F1X or similar to make over 1050-1200 RWHP. So I see the 416 build adding good power and factoring that I'd say it makes 900s like I said, it could make over 1000 to the tire on blower which would be awesome.

How did I miss this thread? And how the heck did someone from Des Moines end up at HHP?
Awesome build, and if Mike Pabon is working on it down here with Chuck you're in good hands. Can't wait to see the numbers |

My family lives in Austin and there just isn’t any places in my area I felt comfortable taking my car to around here. It seems every project I have had I always end up going to Texas. Chuck and his guys build top notch stuff and take no shortcuts so hhp fit the bill. Great people to work with and chuck is a really smart guy that knows his stuff. I’d recommend anyone to make the drive to Houston to get work done from them!
I did see they just came out with a new setup but I don’t know a whole lot about it. Chuck has been having great luck with the prospeed acm and says they are super easy to tune. I will only continue to add more power as time goes on so I feel like the secondary port injection gives us more flexibility with that aspect. I would like to think by next winter we will have eclipsed the 1,500hp mark. At the crank not wheels. So it probably wouldn’t have worked for my application to begin with. None the less it’s still a great option to run the lingenfelter setup. Also we are gong to stay with the stock converter for the reasons you stated as well as I don’t think they even have a converter available yet for the 10 speeds. I’m really going to be shooting for 8 second passes with this setup. I know the power will be there but it’s just getting the car and the driver dialed in. Thanks the feedback guys. I really appreciate it!! |

Need to have lunch here with some of the Camaro crowd and show off the car when you come to pick it up. |

None of the stuff we do to our cars is necessary. I’m also not a fan of 5th gens. Tons of guys on here modding new cars. To each their own. I guess I don’t understand, it’s too nice of a car to put money into it and make it faster? You act like I pulled the motor and put a v6 in it. Also the post you quoted, his budget is far less which is fine but his horsepower goals are obviously far less than what I want out of mine. I wanted a 1000 hp car and wanted to get rid of the little stock blower. Obviously I would have to spend more money than him, totally unnecessary but it takes money to make big horsepower and that’s just the way it is. I’d personally never keep the stock blower but that’s just me. But I’m glad you feel it’s too nice to make it faster! Your right I shoulda just kept it stock! Lol
