Tire company's make tires to different OEM specs. The pzeros that have the CHV (Chevrolet?) at the end are for our cars. The ones that have BEN (Bentley?) are significantly more expensive and are probably manufacturer specs for something else. At least that's my hypothesis for the price disparity.

The difference is nothing really, "CHV" has a "Y" rating up to 186 mph..."BEN" has both a "Z" and "Y" rating, meaning an excess of 149 mph and up to 186 mph. So both tires perform up to 186 mph.

Unless you do any type of Auto X. Mine lasted for two events. They were great on the street. After abusing them in the Auto X tho they started looking like paddle tires. We have three Camaro's running here and all three did the same thing.

What kind of life are you seeing out of them?

I can't quote actual miles because i just slapped them on and couldn't care less but i do extensive driving throughout the week and i do lots of spirited driving and take offs from the light sometimes and thus far they still look brand new. i believe i have had them on for seven months now. Also a friend of mine that has a camaro has the same tires on and he has had them over a year and they look great. i know its not the definitive answer your looking for but i hope this helps a little. One more thing, they last longer than the P-Zeros for sure with no road noise and it feels like you are floating when driving on the highway. On rough patches of road it can get a little rough but nothing major, trust me but thats the only difference i have noticed from the P-Zeros.

You do notice it's an SUV tire and not the same speed rating...?
I've run 2 sets over the life of my car without issue, as I said, better tire IMO.

W is 168MPH, which is higher than the factory speed limiter that came with Pirelli equipped cars.

What is your intended purpose of these tires. Do you drag, autox, or just street driving. Determining this will point you in the right direction. I hated the P-zero's that came with this car. They were loud, didn't last long, and SUCKED in even the slightest cold weather. Warm and hot dry weather, they handled well though. They are listed as a summer tire for a reason. There are MUCH better tires out there for the price. Conti DWS's are very nice and what I run. They were rated a tad under the Pilots in a few tests, meaning they did quite well in all different driving scenarios. They also have a MUCH better tread wear rating so they should last quite a while. Generals are popular and cheap. If you live where's it's warm most of the year, you shouldn't have a problem with summer tires. If you live anywhere north of New Orleans, you'll appreciate all season tires.

I have the nitto motive in the front. they're all season tires and like them. They are a little cheaper then the p-zero. they have a better rating customer rating than the p-zero also but you'll have to check if the different raters are rating them on Camaros or other vehicles.

I think it also depends on the pricing in your location. those P-zeros are only 275 here in Tucson, AZ. http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/fin...394&vid=020777

I'm just about to order some Nitto Motivos for the rear as I've heard good things through a mechanic friend of mine. I've also personally heard good things about the Comp2's as well. I went with the Motivos due to increased tread life and better wet rating.
