Exhaust Question!
So I just got my MRT 2.0 and Xpipe installed and let me just say it sounds AMAZING.
The videos online do not do it any justice! I just had a question, is it normal to feel a bit of rumble in the seats when at a stop? I've never had an aftermarket exhaust and was just wondering. Not sure if it matters but I had the resonators removed and new pipes from the x-pipe and back.

Glad you love the sound and welcome to the V2 club. You don't have anything loose that could be vibrating that would make you feel it in the seat? I don't have the x-pipe myself but maybe there is enough of the sound transferring or resonating into the car at idle. I don't feel it in mine. I have the Solo HFC's on mine and since I have an auto the trans brace is in a different spot and my drivers side pipe was touching the trans cross brace and it would vibrate and resonate into the car at idle. You may want to get under the car and check to make sure everything is tight and not touching anything. Make sure exhaust is cold before grabbing anything.

I had them remove the brace because it was rattling wat too much at a stop. I still get the vibrating some times but it's nothing that bothers me too much! I might swing by sometime this wee just to have the guy take a quick look at it!

You had them remove which brace? I sure hope it wasn't the transmission brace?

Don't think it was anywhere near the transmission! Think it was just holding the exhaust piping.

Honestly couldn't tell you man! I have no idea what drone sounds like.
If I'm on the highway and let go of the throttle, I hear nothing from the exhaust!

That's the driveshaft tunnel brace, it stiffens the driveshaft tunnel area under the carrier bearing for the two piece drive shaft. It probably won't hurt anything to remove it because the factory one is thin and flexes quite a bit anyway... However, you should be able to loosen most of the clamps in your exhaust system and push the pipes up (rotate) them so that they don't hit... Unless you have 3" exhaust in some cases, it will still hit... You could also buy an aftermarket tunnel brace which will usually clear 3" exhaust, or exhaust that touches the factory brace, or many people also use washers in between the brace and the under body of the car to space it down if their exhaust touches.

Awesome you guys! Thanks for the tip! As soon as the snow is off the ground here I'll get under there and place some washers!

Snow is off the ground? You can't let that stop you from getting under your Camaro.
