Mild to Wild

I can't get my Mild to Wild working. Weird thing the paper instructions that I got with it said to install it in the fuse box in the back. RPI's youtube video show it being installed on a Gen 6 in the fuse box in the front. It will not work using this fuse box(for me) Anybody having similar issues? I'm awaiting a return email from them. Installed one on a C6 Corvette and it worked great for 6 years. Thanks, CE

The NPP is controlled differently than on a C6. The C7 and current gen Camaro have multiple settings (from mild to wild) right on the dash! No need for the M2W switch on these cars. Hope that helps!

Go into settings, driving mode, exhaust and change at will...

try
. What the switch does is the same as removing the fuse 51. I have it hooked up as per the video, and sound management set to mirror the mode switch, and nothing happens when I push the remote--ce

I guess what I don't understand is why you wouldn't just put the exhaust in track setting? It's essentially a fuse 51 remote relay?

Maybe since I have a 1LE it's different (no AFM, and rear valves stay open without waiting till 3500rpms). Interesting

My understanding is that even in track mode at certain rpms the exhaust baffles are not always open and this switch keeps them open. Will wait for RPI's response, thanks--ce

I like this idea and seems others do too. For $20+ you can make one yourself -

The fact you can open fully and close the NPP valves with a remote away from the car seems really neat.

Yeah in the upper speeds it closes for highway. Gotcha. Makes sense now. Keep us posted. Does pulling 51 work for you (in the front)? Pull it and see if changing settings no longer work (they should not). If they do it's the car, if not you may have a bad M2W switch.

I put abut 150 miles on my car with the fuse pulled on Saturday and I can't honestly say I thought it made any difference. Its almost like fuse 51 is the wrong one! Hmmm, I'm thinking maybe the video was a 2016 and mine is a 2017 and maybe there is a difference in the fuse box. It doesn't throw a code or light on the dash when I use 51. I've got 2 difference sources that reference 51. This is a real first world problem isn't it??ce

Totally, lol

When pulled, can you go from exhaust setting touring to track and hear the difference? Should not change at all (all loud at that point). If you can confirm that you know you have the right fuse at least.

I had some issues with mine. The orientation of the fuse tap is essential. Check out my thread.
