After careful study of these pics it is apparent as already stated that that front end is bogus. Follow that narrower rear to the front top fender lines and see what should match up to that small cross section rear. Much more dainty than what is shown. The nose is a miscue to lead us astray.
It could be that Automobile magazine is close to the real thing. Having a front end close to that of a Cruz which Chevy probable thinks reflects a lot of 2nd gen car. Who knows how this will translate to interior space. |

It's impossible to break down the scale by a few inches, but the comparison of both does show the A & (likely B) pillar placement, and the exhaust seems to show a more rounded rear bumper cover.
Top is ATS bottom is CTS

I don't think it too bad as most is still hidden. More interested in which front suspension it will have. McPherson Struts or double A-arms?
