FS: V6 Goodridge braided stainless steel brake lines & Hawk HP Plus pads

Goodridge Lines are Sold.

Pads are spoken for also.

Selling because I sold my Camaro. These are used parts as they were on my car (2010 1lt). The pads have around 3k mi. on them .

The Hawk HP+ pads are also V6 camaro specific. The stopping power between these and stock are like night and day. However, along with the increased performance these pads produce more brake noise and dust than the stock pads do. I paid over $200 initially for these both front and rear and would like to get $50 shipped, O.B.O for the set. This is a great value for the occasional auto-crosser or track day enthusiast on a set of lightly used pads.

PM me if interested.

Can you use the pads for everyday use? Or would you recommend just for the track?

Well technically yeah you can, I used these on the street for a couple months before I swapped back to the stockers and it wasn't dangerous or anything, but would I recommend it? No, not really.

Reason being that these pads give off a ton of brake dust and they squeal, at times very loudly. I coated the backs of the pads with pad grease but it didn't help, I think its just the nature of the pad compound.

This is the warning Hawk gives on their site about these pads: "Warning! Due to the dramatic friction levels produced by this product to achieve "race-level" braking, rotor wear, noise, dust, and pad life may be affected." And from my experience you can go ahead and change "noise, and dust maybe affected" to: these pads produce tons of both.

So if your looking for a performance street pad I would go with one of Hawk's less aggressive models like the HPS or ceramic.

These stop great though, no question there.

Thanks for your honesty. Im going to look into the less aggressive ones as ill just be using them on the street and not on the track. Good luck selling them, im sure someone will scoop the up!

No thanks, I'm going to keep trying to sell them on here. But I accept PayPal, so it's kind of like EBAY.
