thats a stupid low price for a pristine SS with 15k miles, even a '10...

research the dealer..if its that 2010 in NJ, i forget the dealer, they tack on 10-12k after they get you in for the paperwork...all for add ons they force on you.....and they wont admit it till you are sitting down...

the add on scam is getting to be a bigger problem, low ball the price to get you in then charge the actual price by charging you for add ons like lojack, or "paint protector" bs that is mandatory.

If they wont give you a written estimate of the out the door price including tax and fees then dont bother...and dont listen to them when they try to tell you they wont know that until they process it, they know what their fees are, at least they can give you the out the door with price and fees....but I bet they wont give you one....

My bet, after price and fees it will be around 34k before tax and warranty etc.....

to many people dont do deep reviews on dealers before they go look at the car, even mainstreem dealers like the Toyota and Honda dealer in St pete Florida or the Chevy and Ford dealer in Atlanta Ga were pulling the lowball and overcharge for mandatory add ons scam

Pretty much, if you see an addon sticker on the used car, like paint protector, we take it back if you dont want it for 14 days or lojack etc, just walk away or understand the price on the car will be 5-12k on avg more than what is on the sticker.

Early build 2010s had a couple issues when beat on.

Buy it OP its almost new.

About 110k miles on my 2010 with lots of spirited driving and quite a few 1/4 mile passes.

These things are built like tanks.

Think of it as 3/4 of a truck drivetrain in a vehicle that weighs at least 2000lbs less

The only real recall I can think of was the positive battery cable rerouting.

Drive it in sport mode and the AFM never activates

Besides the big one- the key recall. I keep getting TWO notices in the mail and email periodically now. Even the local dealer doesn't want to do the key swap. And neither do I.

Don't forget the oil cooler/heater can be a real PITA on any of them. The one on the 2010 started to seep oil periodically and then when it started dripping a bit of coolant, I knew I had to do something. So I did the cooler delete mod out of necessity. Not a rampant problem, but not an uncommon one. It was a good time to replace all the belts and hoses while doing the coolant and oil change anyway.

Got 12K on our 2010 and it's not exhibiting any major issues, though. Not yet anyway. So if you think the price is right and that's the car you want- get it.

I've had close to a dozen recall notices on the key.

Picture Charlton Heston holding up his CAMARO key overhead and yelling "from my cold dead hands." Yeah that me with my original key of certain and instantaneous death.
Come and take it.

I get the recall on the keys too. I don't want them messing with the computer in the car for the keys. mine work fine. nothing is going to touch my Dyno Steve tune in the car.

on the key recall, you can buy one off ebay, take that in and let them do it and you will stop getting recall notices...

I said real recall

That was phoney baloney crap

We have brand new Ford Transit vans at work and they come with almost the same fob and bayonet key

BTW I did one key and told them I lost the other to satisfy that irritation.

I use the notices to line the bottom of the trash can. I don't mind GM spending their money to send me a couple of stupid post cards now and again. I won't do any keys as long as I own the car. And the local dealer thinks it's stupid as well. My brother had a Cruz RS or whatever that was, same flip key, same place on the column. Funny, he never got a recall notice for his.

The battery cable recall was very short-lived and basically was fixed on the fly during production. It was a real concern for those getting early vehicles, however. They should have added more grounding cables, though.

Those stupid key recalls are kind of annoying, I get 2 about once a month. One for my current car and one for the car I no longer own.
They make good fire starters in my wood stove during the winter.
