Camaro SS 1LE beats ACR, GT-R, AMG GT-S, R8, and NSX at MT's BDC 16
In case any of you don't regularly surf through the 1LE section. Here is a link to the thread with all the final results.

Good showing america! PS: that GT350 though, might be my next step up instead of a corvette I have been lusting after. |

Most surprising by far is that the SS 1LE stopped shorter (60-0MPH 94ft.) and gripped the track better (1.09 avg G's) than all of the top 3 finishers!

On a side note: What a time to be alive. So many beautiful performance cars out there, including a strong showing from American brands.
I kind of do want to get a McLaren as my long term stretch goal. I like the current front fascia and head lamp designs on the 570S, P1, and the rest of their lineup, but those are due to be changed up pretty soon. Oh well, that's good news for me if I'm looking in the used market at some point, lol. In the meantime, the more realistic goal is indeed to pick up a 1LE. It's unarguably better bang for the buck since it's 1/4 the price. |

What does it take to make a 2SS comparable to a 1LE? Is it mostly gearing, suspension and wider tires?

Wider stickier tires, eLSD, lighter wheels, FE4 suspension (revamped MRC tune with stiffer springs), 6 pots, and I think some thicker sway bars. Think that's the main performance items.

The GT350 did really well. The Corvette is something special too. Decisions decisions.
