Anti-freeze loss

I’ve been losing anti-freeze from the reservoir but the top tank is full. I thought the tank was leaking so bought a new one and now after driving it a couple times the lower reservoir is empty but top is full. Nothing appears to be leaking but have no idea where it’s going. Any ideas?

There are vent holes in that lower tank and some loss is there, IIRC. Top tank should be full, lower at the full mark, just top it up. As long as it's not white at the tail pipes or leaking under the car it shouldn't be much of a concern. Depending on frequency that youre topping it off...

The coolant mixture does evaporate through the vent holes, but not very quickly in my experience.

Just to be on the safe side, especially if nothing is dripping on the ground, check the underside of the oil cap and the dipstick for oil consistency, if you see whitish, frothy residue, you may have a head or head gasket issue and coolant consumed by the engine.

I just replaced the tank so I’ll fill it half way and see what happens. Will check oil & plugs, has catch can. Old tank was leaking, as there was fluid below it but not now. Just had it dyno tuned and they never said anything about smoke or anything leaking, etc. thanks for help
