2012 Ashen with New Stripes!! - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

All right guys so I finally got my Stripes put on and couldn't be happier..
I went for the Pace Car stripes(former mustang guy here), although there big in the mustang world I saw no reason not to bring em to my SS, after all it is a pony car as well. The color I choose was silver metallic on my 2012 Ashen Grey SS, I feel the contrast is phenomenal!
I bought the kit which retailed for over 400 bucks at a place called Autographicspro.com, I ended up getting them on sale there for 145 dollars (can't beat it). The quality is top notch on these and rated to 8 years outdoors, in my case much longer cause my car doesnt see bad whether to often....Rather then me attempt putting these on cause of the level of difficulty, I opted for a shop near by to put them on. The place that put them on is Custom Creations in Rome, n.y. , They did a AWESOME job and there highly recommened. Best part is they only charged me 200 which I thought was more then fair for the amount of work this kit was.

Also my wife and I put on the Dark grey(almost a perfect match to my cars paint) vinyl overlays front and back on the chevy emblems. Originally I was going to swap them out for custom painted SS emblems in billet alumminum and it would of cost me just under 300 bucks for these emblems.....In the end I'm glad I went this route, the vinyl to do the emblems cost 11 bucks and you can see the end result below. In my opinion it could't look sweeter and I saved about 275 dollars

Looks great! Can't blame you for not installing them yourself, I helped my brother-in-law install a pace car stripe kit on his and it was no easy task!

Yea I wasn't about to tackle this man...however my wife is very crafty and artsy and she really wanted to do them but I told her If she screwed up I was out for a new kit and that could of been the price for install..Although I would of loved her to do em and I love her very much for wanting to put her stamp on my car, I just couldn't do it...

Full body stripes are my favorite. I wouldn't get them any other way. I've thought about doing flat black across my AGM. You may have just sold me on it too lol.

WOW!!!

I LOVE the way these came out bro, it was worth the wait for sure. This color looks perfect on your car, it contrasts amazingly well.

Glad you got a good deal from those guys in rome. If I ever do bigger stripes than the ones I have I will give them a shout.

Can't wait to see it in person, but from these pics they look SICK!

You gonna drive the car to work this week? I'm off wed, but there's definitely no mistaking our cars now
