That's about right. The 6th gen is decently appealing until you see the price tag. A fully loaded 2SS is going to run about 53k out the door. Mildly used C7, CTS-V, ZL-1, highly modded forum used 1LE prices. A lot of technology involved with the car compared to the 5th gen but the sticker on it is a bit high imo with the highest 5th gen 2ss in the day maxing in the mid to high 40's. Most people will get about what...20k max on trade at the moment? It'd be a good car if your trade could bring it down into the 30s

Catch cans will be a good seller for the 6th Gen.

Because of different opinions? The sour grapes will be the 4 banger and 6 banger threads. You know that's coming.

was $105,000. Be nice to have money like that. Also saw a '69 Yenko Camaro. I think it sold for $200,000+

Everyone has a right to their own opinion. What wows the socks off of one person will be a meh to another. I am an old fart so the 5th gen reminded me of the 1st gen I never could afford. Closest I came was a 69 Nova. I love the look of the 5th gen and finally found one I could afford in August that had everything I wanted. I like the tail lights in my 2011 better than the 14-15 too. Again, just my personal preference, nothing against those that like them. My first thought when I saw the 6th was not sure about the grill and hood. It is possible as time goes on it will grow on me. I am thrilled that I have a Camaro, no matter what gen it is.

I almost totally agree with you! For me...5, 1, 2, 6, 3, 4. And...I own a 1, 3, 5! Looking to own a gen 2 in the near future! Don't care to ever own a 4...but will add a 6 to my collection at some point too.

5th gen and it's not even close.
There are a few things I like about the 6th gen but if i had to choose, I'd take a 5th gen again 10 out of 10 times. |

Then you'll have the modded 4 banger verses stock V8. I can mod the V8, bla, bla, bla... Great times ahead. Interesting that a few Ecoboost people are trading in to get the V8, felt that they bought the wrong car.

I haven't seen one up close and personal yet, but the more pics I see the more I like it. I imagine that my next car will be one of these in a couple of years. However, until then I still like my old pre-refresh SS just fine.
