Agreed. All we ever hear from GM in regards to adding colors is "we can't, we can't, we can't". Well I say "why the hell not?" Last time I checked, this is 2012, not 1943. Its not like its technologically unfeasible!

Stop doling out corporate excuses and just make some ish happen! "It's what the people want".

The truth is, if GM wanted to add a couple colors, they could make it happen. And probably pretty quickly at that.

All it would take is for the right person to step in and say "alright let's do this".

I LOVE the blue color. The "Hotwheels" emblem no so much, though.. The wheels look sick

Love the base color but the rest of the car I expected more.
The redlines are to thin on the wheels.....the red pinstripe on the grill but not the hood/roof?? the blue "Ghost flame" not so good..and the emblems should have gone retro colors...with the orange flames.
I did a Hotwheels camaro based on Aqua Blue years ago...think Ill stick with that instead.
Even this sticker would have been better!

Those wheels are hideous I wonder if the dealer would cut a deal to throw some black ZL1 20s on there. I wanted a '10 ABM SS and was waiting for a similar color to come back out. So is the MSRP is going to be 45-47 for the ss hot wheels package?

The car does look nice, but "hot wheels"? That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard.

People buy "Hot Wheels" toys of their cars, not the other way around.

When I want a badge on my car I want an "M" badge or an "AMG" badge or a "Shelby" badge - not some friggin toy company! This car is a disgrace.

BS. All the people I've ever encountered at the track/strip would not be caught dead in a car with a $7000 aesthetic package based on a toy company. They'd take that $7000 and use it to smoke this 21" wheeled toy. Good luck getting traction with those 21 inches.

Ive never understood paying for "special edition" cars unless they are somehowmechanically improved from thd others. I think only pontiac ever got that right with the trans ams. (except for the fourth gens where they just slapped paint jobs and stickers on them. 7 k extra for paint, stickers and 1" bigger wheels. Thanks but no thanks.

Special Editions serve their purpose. There's a niche group out there (like myself with the 35th) that likes something a littler rarer that not everyone has. In addition, some people have specific tastes that aren't suitable for an entire line and are willing to pony up a little more cash for it. Some of these vehicles also have a sort of halo effect on the line. I don't have a beef with them specifically at all - I just want that damn Kinetic Blue available across the Camaro line.
