Order Progression: This is what the person who placed your order can see

So after chatting with my dealer and seeing the screens myself a few dozen times, here is what your dealers ordering manager can see (For those of you who haven't seen this):



The above order is for a XTS, but the numbers are the same as our Camaro tracking as are all the GM cars. I am not sure how this compares to what Becky can see when she checks our orders, but I assume it is slightly different. But I do assume for orders she has placed for her dealership, she also sees the above. The dealers ordering manager can also see your order sheet and a few extra things I cut off from this order.

Now in this case, it looks as if you can see every update: 4000, 4150, 4200 and 4B00. So if you want those specific updates, it sounds like you need to chat with your dealer and the guy who places their orders.

But the note here I wanted to point out is if your car is coming by rail, the trains details are listed. See the event details under the 4200 event code. This specific car was on car carrier ETTX 852108 owned by CN North America

You can see the train car markings below and kind of what the car carrier looks like. They obviously vary from company to company and when they were made.

Becky and Chevy Chat can not see all that including the rail car number. Also, you can get a print out from your dealer upon delivery and see even more bouncing around - an eye opening experience, for sure.

Thanks for posting, it brings back memories, which after taking delivery are all good.

Very cool...I like the details of 4200, I will have to keep that in kind so I can have my dealer get me those details ao I can try and track the car once it ships.

Not mine...they never even contacted me since I ordered, had to actually touch base with them after I got a VIN, they couldn't care less.

No one is like you Becky

My guy does send me text's when the system updates in the evenings if he thinks an update is coming. But that is only because he is as excited as I am. Because of the leg work and details you share Becky I have been able to keep them informed. Even helped them sell a few cars with the pricing you posted.

They told me I could come work as their Camaro rep
