Camaro or Trans/Am

Had a great discussion about the Camaro outselling Mustang, during which a point came up.
Would the Camaro still have out sold the Mustang IF the Trans/Am were still being produced.

I have started to wonder how many people bought Camaros because the T/A just isnt there to fill the void.

I have owned many of both.....more Trans/Ams (9) than Camaros (4) and depending on the looks might have gone to the Red Arrow brand again.

How say you all?

It's hard to understand how Pontiac was hurting so bad when I see Pontiacs everywhere. Just the Grand Prix itself was a big seller.

In any event, I would decide based on the looks and options. But my heart is always with Chevrolet and the Camaro.

For me, I would have bought a trans am instead. Always been a pontiac man.

Camaro. It's always been Camaro for me. Not disrespect to the Bird, may it RIP- it's a beautiful car. But personally, I'll take the Chevy over the Pontiac regardless of generation.

Trans Am definitely. Gold with a screaming chicken in black on the hood

I am starting to look for a "Gen 2" Trans Am to start restoring. (With T-Tops of course!)

I've always preferred the Camaro over the Firebird. Can't wait to get my 201x as it'll be the third Camaro I've owned.
