Am I the Jim to which you refer? Been without my car for 10 weeks. We're getting close though. Just dropped these off with my shop in Ft Worth. I had a Specialized Performance Coatings in Arlington put their ceramic coating on all the hot side and part of the cold side parts.

Hope to be driving it late this week or early next week.

Yeah, i think i have seen you driving around this part of town. It will be nice to be running a boost controller. With my D1SC it was impossible to go more than half throttle without breaking loose and bouncing the rev limiter.

You are correct, the car is mainly built for the road course, no interest in going in a straight line. I've been waiting on the turbos and boost controller before taking it out to the road course. See ya around town

Great meeting last night.... We had a big showing last night. Would be nice to see some more new faces start popping up in this town. Everyone is more than welcome to stop by and hang out and visit to get to know new people. This is what its all about.

Also, just wanna say it sure was nice seeing that 2014 1LE and 2014 ZL1 last night though.

Wish i could have hung out longer. Looks like my car will be ready for the tune NLT wed/thursday this week.

Just so you guys know, there's a group on FB for hot rod enthusiasts here in Wichita Falls. They meet at Sonic on Soutwest Parkway once a month. It's not just Camaros, but it's a good place for the old timers and the new blood to get acquainted. Here's the addy:

Tomorrow, Apr 18, they're getting together at the local drag strip, Wichita Raceway Park, out on 369 (next to the prison

). It's not a money race...not officially anyway. It's just a test 'n' tune/grudge race with a live tree. $25 to run as often as you care to, or $10 as a spectator. Track is nicely prepped. Pits are open. You can see just about anything out there: rails, bikes, tuners, pro street. Best of all, it's legal - no tickets

...Sure would be nice to start seeing some autocross events posted up on that page.
