Seriously, the vert will be a somewhat DD for the Mrs. with it going to bed for Nov.-March-ish. Nice to have another "beater" for the bad months/weather.

Just seemes to me with all the postings of people cars getting keyed, and
vandalized, I think people would cut the rag top's? Also easier to get into to steal something? Just my 2 cents

First car I ever had was a convertible. 63 mercury comet, This car will be my retirement present, I gave camaroscotty 500.00 yesterday to get on the list.I am now just waiting for the final color combos before I order. If someone cuts my top it will give me a good excuse to get a custom color replacement coutesy of my insurance

I'm playing the waiting game. Not a first model year buyer because the car always gets better with age. Living here in montana, the camaro will not see any winters, and therefore won't be driven at least half the year given the way the weather has been lately. Which got me to thinking, why not consider the convertible?. I will definitely wait to see and drive one, and also wait to see how the 5th gen evolves. Anxious and waiting!!

I have owned 2 and did not like them. Only bought them because the price was right and i needed a car at those times. One was a 1963 Pontiac tempest the other a 1965 ford fairlane.

I want a Z28! If they make it in a convertible, that's what I'll buy. If they only make it in a coupe, then I'll buy the coupe.

Hey, there's nothing better than taking off the doors and roof on a wrangler on a summer weekend! That's the coolest thing about it! I used to park mine right in the middle of a mountain stream and we would do cannonballs off of it! You don't think a Z28 is going to be noisy? It will be a good kind of noise though.

By the time I will have the funds saved and ready to buy I am sure that there will be a few on the dealer lots even though I am ordering mine, I am not going to fall into the "gotta have it this instant" trap and end up paying too much for it. I also want to see their pricing on them as well.

If they key it then they key it, nothing I can do about it there, if someone wants into the car they will get into the car, and if it isn't a convertible then they will bust something else trying to get into the car.

I miss my Jeep, I loved the noise and loved how rugged the vehicle felt............its a Jeep thing I guess, and if I dont get a Camaro I for sure will be getting another Jeep.
