Convertible top, auto up/down

Has anyone seen or know of anyone who has programmed the convert so I don't have to push remote and hold it to get top to go down. Plus repeat to put up?

Mods4Cars Has one for the C7 Corvette and ha not had time to investigate the Camaro yet. He said if I knew someone in the Vegas area that wanted to be the first to get ahold of them.

Just watched their video on the Vette - someone get them a Gen6 so I can give them my money!

I've looked at the directions on the Vette and the computer box looks the same as the camero. I'm guessing with miner tweaking it would work just as well on the Camaro.

Looking at the video the vette uses three lock pulses for up and three unlock pulses for down - im wondering if the older vettes didnt have a down button on the remote.

To my knowledge, you can't put the camaro top UP using the remote. Now, if this really IS possible legal, then i feel pretty silly for not knowing......

That's why they have aftermarket. Check out the site in my first post. They just did a kit for the C7 which in all reality should be the same setup as our Camaro. 4 programs available. One I like is push remote 3 times and top comes down completely without having to leave finger on remote. If top down, push remote 3 times and top closes completely without holding remote. Still have to put up windows though.

I read through their instructions - you can program it to roll the windows up too. You have to plug an adapter into the OBD port and leave it there. It also said something about programming the system using your turn signals somehow.

I also like to one touch functionality it gives to the top button in the car - instead of holding it down while the top cycles all you do is push the button once and the top goes all the way down or up without holding the button the entire time. Sweeeet!
