Can't see your picture, but the one I think you are referring to in the one review appears to be gray.

R&T pipes in: http://www.roadandtrack.com/new-cars...-test-numbers/
"The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS felt more like a Corvette than an evolution of the previous pony car. Credit the new, lighter platform and the brilliant LT1 V-8. The SS is sporty and lithe, strong and flexible. While commuting to the test track the Camaro easily absorbed all humps and bumps in the road with a rock solid chassis and supple suspension, yet handled like a proper sports car. Brilliant chassis balance, nearly a g of grip, and precise steering made it proper fun, no hassle hooning. Furthermore, hard accelerating is all-day repeatable and impressive! Look at the numbers. The new SS is only a few tenths off the big brother C7. Check out the comparison below. It's okay to be amazed. I am." - Robin Warner

Pretty nice skid pad numbers with the Goodyears...maybe they will be pretty decent tires after all.

Dang, 55 degrees! As hard as it is to get traction below 60 degrees with wider tires on my vette, I can see why he had to launch right off idle. We will definitely see the manuals pushing 12.0 in the hands of good drivers on a well prepped track with good DA. Hero runs with the auto will certainly be in the 11s.

I've always been one of those guys who thought V8 was the only way to go in a pony car but this V6 in a car that weighs what, 3400 something? That's going to be a great machine.
Also, these reviews are awesome! I cannot wait for mine to get in. Sitting at 3000 status right now so hopefully it's not going to be a long wait. |
