Help Plz: Start up on L99 after adding supercharger - lots of codes

After a long upgrade project on my 2010 Camaro SS L99. I'm getting some major codes.

If I let the car charge overnight I can get it to idle for 10 min before it dies. Then it dies almost right after crank up.

Too many codes for me to chase to figure out what is wrong. I'm thinking this might be due to a bad ground. But any help on where to start the trouble shooting would be greatly appreciated.

Below are the codes I'm getting after it dies out

0x7E8: P0036 - HO2S Heater Control Circuit (Bank 1, Sensor 2) (Pending, Current, Old, History)
0x7E8: P0050 - HO2S Heater Control Circuit (Bank 2, Sensor 1) (Pending, History)
0x7E8: P0056 - HO2S Heater Control Circuit (Bank 2, Sensor 2) (Pending, Current, History)
0x7E8: P0059 - HO2S Heater Resistance (Bank 2, Sensor 1) (Permanent)
0x7E8: P0102 - Mass or Volume Air Flow A Circuit Low (Permanent)
0x7E8: P0202 - Cylinder 2 Injector Circuit / Open (Pending, Current, Permanent)
0x7E8: P0204 - Cylinder 4 Injector Circuit / Open (Pending, Permanent)
0x7E8: P0206 - Cylinder 6 Injector Circuit / Open (Pending, Current)
0x7E8: P0208 - Cylinder 8 Injector Circuit / Open (Pending)
0x7E8: P0700 - Transmission Control System (MIL Request) (Pending, Current)
0x7EA: P2534 (Pending, Current, Permanent)

What work was done on the car when the codes came about?

There is a lot of work done. This has been a 2 year project in the making. Kenne Bell Supercharger, cam, DOD delete. I'm thinking I might just be missing a ground somewhere. Thoughts?

Do you have the ground from the engine to the passenger inner fender?

Also, there are grounds on the back of the heads and a ground harness that went to the exhaust Manifold.

I happened to take pics of my L99 disassembly starting here:

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...=385577&page=4

BTW, did you happen to take pics before disassembly? If not the link may help you ck grounds...

Thanks for the link... I've checked those three locations and all grounds are solid. Any other grounds that I'm missing?

Main ground from engine to body. Very Important to make sure it’s tight on the engine , body, and not broken at the crimps:

Left:

Right:

By manifold:

Then make sure the j connectors on the ECM didn’t kick loose.

Found the main front ground wire a little loose. (If I pulled on it I could get it to turn) Tightened it up. but still not change in running. The codes went down in number. But I'm still lost here.

Now the only codes showing are below: (about 1/2 as much as before)
0x7E8: P0059 - HO2S Heater Resistance (Bank 2, Sensor 1) (Permanent)
0x7E8: P0102 - Mass or Volume Air Flow A Circuit Low (Permanent)
0x7E8: P0202 - Cylinder 2 Injector Circuit / Open (Permanent)
0x7E8: P0204 - Cylinder 4 Injector Circuit / Open (Permanent)
0x7E8: P0700 - Transmission Control System (MIL Request) (Pending, Current)
0x7EA: P2534 (Pending, Current, Permanent)

Permanent may be connector related. I’d verify those connectors are in good shape and properly connected and not corroded. Permanent codes usually mean no data received or open circuits. I’d validate wires are not pinched and connectors are making good contact.

Check all your injector connectors and the grounds like the 4th pic are properly grounded.

Grounds are vital for the ECM. If they are not good, the ECM will not get a good signal.

Connectors visually inspected. look brand new. (Next step would be to hook up a volt meter, but dont have time to get into that tonight. No pinched wires that I can see.

Grounds look good (4th pic) even pulled the bolt out and re-tightened for good measure.

Don, I really appreciate all the advice. I'm going to have to call it for the night as I gotta get some work done for tomorrow. I'll be traveling all week, but I'll post on here next weekend if I get it figured out!

Thanks again for all the suggestions.

Anytime! Best to make sure nothing is pinched or burnt wiring. Ohm meter for validating no breaks in the wiring...

I’d clear the codes then focus on the pending and current. Permanent that do not have pending or current should clear after 50 to 100 full cold to hot cycles (8 hours apart). Can’t change that. Gov. ordered that to prevent hacking emissions...

Well...After another day of troubleshooting I'm about to give up hope on this one. I double checked all grounds (good) I checked resistance on the injectors (tested good 12.5 ohms), I tested keyed on voltage at the injector (12V all good), I checked the driver circuit from the ECM with a test light (flashes indicate its sending a good signal), I put in a diode across an injector (flashed indicates its sending a good signal). SO if injector is good, ECM is good, and wiring is good. What the heck is going on here? Anything else I can try here?

Are you still seeing the P0700 and P2534?

The others will eventually go away as long as they don’t have pending or current MILs. Ignore the ones that are only permanent. Like I noted before, that is just saved in the PCM and should not effect anything. Once the number of drive cycles complete, they will go away (takes about 100 complete cold to hot drive cycles at least 8 hours apart — yep, thank the EPA for that).

P2534 is ignition switch issue. Did you happen to tap into a fuse? Sometimes those taps cause issues where you tap in.

I'm only seeing the following DTCs. But when I start up the car it shuts down almost right after crank up.

0x7E8: P0050 - HO2S Heater Control Circuit (Bank 2, Sensor 1) (Pending, History)
0x7E8: P0059 - HO2S Heater Resistance (Bank 2, Sensor 1) (Permanent)
0x7E8: P0102 - Mass or Volume Air Flow A Circuit Low (Permanent)
0x7E8: P0202 - Cylinder 2 Injector Circuit / Open (Permanent)
0x7E8: P0204 - Cylinder 4 Injector Circuit / Open (Permanent)

Ok the P0050 is the one to concentrate on. As long as the others don’t show pending or current, that would be the primary one to look at. Who did the tune? May need to get some advice from them on the immediate shutdown...

Manual says:
P0050 is a straightforward code with a few causes:

Bank 2, sensor 1 failure (most common)
Poor electrical connection
Engine Control Module failure
Open or short in the wiring

The 2 in bold is what I’d ck first, then the sensor. ECM/PCM would be the last thing and it’s rare they go bad...
