Nothing like Ferraris, Lambos, and R8s to make your Camaro feel like a Civic
Hey all,
Per recommendation from some in the forum, I went to Katie's Car and Coffee near DC. Well let me tell you the cars are awesome but it sureeee puts your Camaro in perspective lol

The Pittsburgh Cars and Coffee is the same way. Lambos, Ferraris, Porsches, Teslas (yes, multiple) high end Audis, Mercedes and BMWs everywhere.
I'm there with my ZL1 and they give me "aww look at him trying" look I should mention, they were all EXTREMELY nice and welcoming. But I was one of the more inexpensive cars there.

Show up next year in a Z/28. The reception may be different. Some will have the same pallor as Shrek.

Reminds me of going wine tasting in the Napa valley in a 1998 Eclipse back in the day. Even the gardeners drove high end cars and suvs.

Last month at our Cars and Coffee we had a Bugatti Veyron come by Needless to say, the Gallardo, Diablo, and Audi R8 that was there first before the Veyron parked in the middle of them barely got any looks after that! It's like the food chain!

There's a huge show every Sunday after July 4th in my hometown of Dedham, MA at the Endicott Estate. It at least used to be the biggest one day show east of the Mississippi
I have seen some wild and rare cars there. A guy drove in a 1920s Bugatti racer 10 or 12 years ago. A Type 13? I'm not up on my ancient Bugattis but you get the idea. But the cake was taken by a car that a lot of people walked by. They thought it was a kit car, some weird one-off, except for 5 or 6 people. It had rocked-dented aluminum body parts. Although this car would be beaten by new cars on tracks, the top of the food chain at the vintage car show was on display as far as I'm concerned- a Ford enthusiast with lots of money drove in a legit, race veteran 1966 GT40 MKII with a 289. This was '91 or '92 You can put that car on a track vs a Veryon etc and it will probably lose. But the real race veteran, that was driven flat-out for an entire race- sometimes they raced 24 hours- that car, street legal full-on racer which dueled on the world's prestige sportscar circuits- that's the stuff

I got to ride in a Veyron once and it made me feel like a loser. The attention to detail is astounding. Everything is the best in that car. I can't put enough stress on the, "everything." The sound system is like a top of the line home theater system and the seats are comfortable enough to sit in all day. When you turn the knobs or click buttons it's like they were designed specifically for your ideal resistance. It is not just a car. People say some cars are works of art. The Veyron is a collection of works, a museum of all automotive achievement. Last edited by trademaster; 10-20-2013 at 09:18 PM. |

I don't think the camaros can be compared to a civic that's like the cheapest. and bland import. The camaro is a muscle car and not the cheapest or bland one neither. Who cares how much attention others pay to your car . I hope none of you bought it thinking that you was gonna get all the attention. My car gets enough from others, more than I would like. Everyone has their owe taste.
The ppl that has exotic cars most of the time has Their pride and joy in their garage under a car cover. They will replace the exotics , once it gets old . But not their pride and joy in the garage. |
