I understand. After only 8 months, I had to trade my '12 1LT/RS for a '13 1SS/RS. The LT was missing two cylinders.

Have had the SS almost two years now and don't regret it for a second!

Beautiful car, by the way.

I don't get why everyone doesn't just get an SS to start with instead of taking a financial bath trading in all these new cars!

Enjoy the new ride.

because some of us can't afford it? I already pay $450 a month, I'm pushed to the max on my spending limits.

I have a V6. I'm saying all these people who buy a V6 then trade it in after less than a year are taking a financial bath and it would have been cheaper to get the SS in the first place.

Hindsight.

I didn't know until after I got it that the mpg isn't much better than the v6 and I would have gotten the V8.

When buying a Camaro for the first time, I only knew about:
V6 = Cheaper and better mpg, looks the same as a v8. 300 hp is a lot.
V8 = More expensive, less mpg, more fun.

They don't know about this forum until after.

Tis a stepping stone for me. New generation coming out, get rid of old car before something catestrophic fails..
OP, I want to be in your situation one day.

There is nothing wrong with the V6 - you can have lots of fun with 323 HP. And the CAMARO is just a very cool auto

Everyone says that you can't tell the mpg difference between the V6 and V8

You can, but its not drastic. When I had my 1LS I would average 19 mpg mixed driving

With my SS its anywhere from 17.5 to 18.2 on most fillups. Same route as my LS

5 hour freeway trip to AZ to pick up my SS and I averaged ~28mpg in my LS
on the way back in the SS... ~25
