Finally have my Camaro SS/RS!
So here it goes, traded my cyber gray 1LT camaro in for a Summit White SS/RS with black rally stripes. Ive always wanted the roar of a V8 and im so surprised and happy with myself as I am only 21 years old, and did all this on my own. I work in a shop as an apprentice technican. I pick the car up Monday or maybe sooner, if the registry gets everything together. So heres my worries. I can afford the car but on the other hand I only have about 2.5 years left on my v6. I took out a 6 year loan for the SS hopefully pay it off sooner. Guess i watnted to see some thoughts of my cold feet! tell me how much you love that SS!

Good for you and Congratulations. My SS/RS was White with black rally stripes. I still think it is an awesome look. Don't look back and enjoy your new ride.

I love the SS/RS, my concern for someone your age would be the insurance costs. You only live once but being in financial bondage with a car payment and insurance cost that is as high as a car payment sucks.
My son(25) refused to listen to me when he spent 45K for his recent new truck purchase and then got hit with the higher insurance and higher fuel costs(due to 10-12mpg). If you can comfortably afford it, I say go for it! |

thanks! Yeah I can afford it no problem. Its just the worry about saving more money on the side, and just the fact a lot can happen in 6 years. I mean i assume id be making more money haha.

I traded my 2LT RS for a 2SS RS, only thing I miss is the good mpg's. :-)
Once you make the move, you won't be looking back. Enjoy it!

Dude, old man here over 50 (dang, but what can I do about it?) and love my SS. When I can't drive and am in the home those are the memories I'll have. Be careful how you treat people because that's what you'll have to live with, if like me you care. Go make your good times, SS is the perfect way!!
Oh and btw for those 60, 70, 80+ I'm not really old. Right?! :-)
