Curious.... do the poll results match the overall sales stats?? 60/40? Or are the manual drivers just more likely to step up and say so??

If ls3 was available with the auto,I would have loved the paddle shifter! But it wasnt so Im stuck with manual So why do ZL1s not have a differant motor for auto and manual. At least from what i read, they dont

When I was a kid we used to emulate driving a stick making the gear shift and engine sounds with our mouths and blowing spit and using our left hand on a make believe steering wheel and moving our right hand back and forth on a make believe stick shift.
Most kids today never even heard of a stick so they pretend driving with left hand on a make believe steering wheel while wiggling the fingers on the right hand back and forth pretending to paddle shift.

What if your V6 is running in the 13s without a tune or headers?

Same here.
I have had both in the past. I am not of the school of thought that thinks a manual is more fun to drive. It got really tiring in daily commute to constantly be shifting up and down with the flow of traffic, etc.
I just prefer to put it in drive and cruise everywhere. To each his/her own.

I had an automatic in my Ram and for the truck it was fit. However for my Camaro stick was a must have for me.

One reason may be that more "average Joe's" pick the automatic and more enthusiasts, who are more likely to come to a car forum, pick the manual.
