Any good tips for maintaining a car fully wrapped in Satin?

Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone had any experience maintaining/protecting a car with a satin wrap. I am aware that you can wax cars with a gloss/metallic wrap, but satin/matte aren't supposed to be waxed (to avoid shine/other issues)

I have already bought the Chemical Guys Meticulous Matte car wash, but was wondering if there is anything else you can do to take care of a satin finish

Thank you

You will get many opinions here, I would want to know what the manufacturer/installer says to maintain it , before I listen to advice here. (Incl me) It may not be wrong, but in this case the manufacturer/installer is probably the best source of correct information.

Further, I would ask where some of the detailing pros hang out: the autogeek and autopia.org sites. Usually the mfrs answer there.

I had a matte car but it was painted matte. It needed to be washed with a degreaser, like Ajax or any other dish soap, to maintain the matte look. You want to keep oils away otherwise it will start getting shiny spots. Also the Ajax dried streak and spot free. However I do not know if the same would apply to your case.
