RPM will have to get sketchy like most 5.0 shops and gut the car until it's a tin can to run crazy times and then just post engine mods

Its going to be a great year for the Camaro and its owners.

Talked with the guys over at RPM, they said the only weight reduction was the tire/wheel swap.

If it's truly a full weight car other than the wheels and tires...

All they'd have to do is pull the seats..that's it. However, unless they do it right away..they won't have the fantastic air they had..however even at sea level it'd still be a 10.11ish run at about...135 or so.

It's got 9s as is. The 60ft could still get down to 1.4 or so.

Lost a ton of mph from last time.

Guy on ls1tech who was there said the track was slow and terrible that day. Uphill with a hell of a head wind.

Holy smokes! With an LT4, a gen 6 ZL1 with a pulley, headers and a tune might get into the 9's!

A friend of mine was there and also said the head wind was very back at the track .

Yeah that's a pretty big drop.

The DA on this one was significantly worse than the previous 137mph run also..+672 feet (if my calculation is correct) vs -1,200 feet like last time.

Combine that with a headwind and there's easily that MPH drop. Looks like the track was hooking okay due to the low ET and 1.48 60' vs 1.54 60' of the last run.
