I just got the Viofo A119 (1440p) for $84. I will use the lexar 633x micro sd card (good for loop recording) and will hard wire into power feed above power sunroof connector, after I receive 12v to 5v converter in mail in about 2 weeks.

Have the Viofo A119 as well. I have it positioned behind the rear-view mirror and don't ever notice it while driving! Make sure you buy a decent 12V to 5V converter as mine is failing and needs to be replaced

I'm waiting for a 12v to 5v converter (with mini usb) from hong kong to hardwire from above sun roof connector. Hopefully foreign converter works well.

I went with the Rexing V1 and hardwired to the mirror. It's very hidden and very clean. It actually recorded a guy pulling out in front of me back in April last year that I posted on here if you are interested in seeing the video quality.

I can give you links to all the other pieces I bought for it if you like (hardwire kit, adapter, SD card etc.)

I went with the same one after someone keyed my hood last may. I installed the beta firmware that allows for motion sensing. I see they came out with a new one a few months ago with night vision.

Thank you for this info! I just ordered the Rexing pro 500 with rear cam and hardwire. What wires in the rear view did you tap into?

Or here's an even better free app, Nexar - AI Dashcam:
